What Our Large Intestine Does

I have a question for you: who wants a functional large intestine? Yes, you can read that correctly, and you’re hearing it correctly. So, who wants a working large intestine? What would you want? a nice large intestine, right? Well, let’s think about what our large intestine does for our body. Our large intestine is similar to a sewer, one of the sewer systems that helps with waste elimination from our butt. 

That’s generated by our body, right? and that’s one of the biggest ways. How often should you be eliminating? You know, that’s the kind of question a lot of people have. One thing you can do is look at yourself when you’re a baby, ask your mother, or if you have children, look at your children and see how often they use the restroom, right? That’s how frequently you should go to the bathroom. 

Okay, even as an adult, and most people don’t realize that because you know. Here’s the thing: as babies, our intestines are typically clean; they haven’t been polluted by all of this artificial food that the food industry has created. It’s through life; throughout the time that we grow up, we’re putting junk in our body, and that junk clogs up our system, okay? So, when it clogs our system, we don’t use the restroom or the second bathroom as frequently as we did when we were babies. 

So, how frequently should you go? It’s based on what you knew when you were a baby, okay? So, what are some of the ways you can help? Let’s say that you’re constipated and go every other day or once a week. Some people, some of our patients, go once a week. I don’t know how they survive with that, but they go once a week, right? And so, what are some things that you can do without having to pop a pill or take a medication—like a stool softener to get the bowels going?

Acupressure is one of the things that Chinese medicine discovered 3,000 years ago. You can call it massage acupressure; it’s very similar, so one of the things that we do that I do on a daily basis is massage my tummy, okay? I massage my large intestine. Your large intestine travels around here, down here, and out of your buttocks normally.

One of the things we do if we want to massage clockwise is do it clockwise. So, if we’re having a little constipation or a little bloating, we need a massage clockwise. You know, we can do this while we’re in the shower; we can do this while we’re in the toilet. It doesn’t matter now if you have the opposite problem—we have diarrhea—and you want to read massage counterclockwise.

All right, counterclockwise, you can do this for your babies. Actually, for babies and for your kids, they don’t notice a very quick result. So, if you have a constipated baby, just massage it clockwise, okay? clockwise, and their vowels should be gone within an hour or so.
