Don’t Oxidize Food That’s Super Important

Did you know that our body can rust? Our body will become oxidized if we continue eating oxidized foods. Fresh foods are considered good for the body aside from containing enzymes, they are not oxidized. Oxidation occurs when matter bonds of oxygen and rust like iron and metal. We are rusting away if we eat oxidized food and we see food that rusting on daily basis.

For example if we fry something, the oil becomes discolored and blackened. Also apples and potatoes change its color that becomes brown shortly after their skins are peeled. If your fruits are rusting or starting to change its color, just cut off that layer before eating. It was all attributed the effect of oxygen found in air so free radicals are created when the oxidized foods enter the body. Free radicals are those toxins or cells that come together and form tumors that eventually form a cancer.

If we want to stop the oxidation, we need to prevent eating oxidized foods. This is one of the BioHacking tip from the Enzyme Factor Book. This is a very beneficial fact that we need to avoid fried foods, oxidized parts out of fruits and vegetables.
