Why Do We Have Teeth?

We’re going to continue with biohacking tip number 21. Why do we have teeth? Have you ever thought about why we have a certain number of teeth in the different types of teeth? Well, guess what, he wrote it in his book in the bible, The Enzyme Factor. Dr. Shinya is a gastroenterologist and surgeon. So, he broke it down because digestion starts in your mouth, so he broke it down and he says humans have a total of 32 teeth, including wisdom teeth.

The breakdown is as follows: two pairs of incisors (front teeth) on the top and the bottom, then one pair of canines on the top and bottom, and five pairs of molars on the top and bottom. Thus, in humans, the ratio is one canine, two incisors, and five molars. The canines are to eat meat, okay, and the two incisors plus five molars, total seven, are to eat plant-based foods. So, God created our bodies perfectly, giving us one canine to eat meat and seven other types of teeth to eat plant-based foods.

He says, if we apply this balance between plants and meat, it comes out to a seven to one ratio. As a result, I recommend a diet that is 85 percent plant-based and 15 percent animal-based. So, whatever you believe, we were created; I personally believe, as a Christian, that God created the body perfect, and so God created it, created us, or provided us with enough teeth to eat the foods that we require. If we just base it on our teeth, our bodies were made to eat a plant-based diet with a small amount of animal protein because we were only given one pair of canines.

Yeah, a pair of canines on the top and bottom, and the rest of the seven pairs of teeth are for plant-based foods. So, it’s important that you know you can either say research data or just look at your own mouth. Your own mouth was built to eat more of a plant-based diet. So, if you’re not eating a plant-based diet, that could be a huge reason why you’re having chronic pain, chronic inflammation, and so forth.

That’s one of the things that we do for our patients to achieve integrative health. Those people who are suffering from chronic inflammation, whether it’s diabetes, hypothyroid, high cholesterol, hypertension, doesn’t matter. We start with what the body was built to do: our bodies. We’re built to eat a plant-based diet, and therefore you know when we help our patients switch over to a plant-based diet.

They start to improve very quickly for our diabetics. You know, their blood sugar usually drops by 20 or 30 points just within one month. If they were taking insulin, they’d be off of insulin in just one month just by changing to a plant-based diet. With just a small amount of animal protein. But that’s not necessarily the exact ratio for everybody; the diet is somewhat customized.
